I think these pictures pretty much sums up a valuable Easter time for me!
Kaleb´s sleepover at my place. It was great. Coffee shop (in my own interest trying to teach him to love it like I do!), at the library borrowing books, and hang out at my place with playtime, painting, watching "Dyrepasserne" and of course - kjøttdeig og spaghetti (one of the few meals I cook...)
Sleep over with Lukas. We just had to watch the trains and go by one to Sandnes, McDonalds (as usual!) and hanging out at my place until bedtime. Then we played at the playground with some other kids the whole next day. Look at him, how excited he is here on the picture, waiting for the train to arrive!
Several walks with good friends, to Orre beach, Eigerøy fyr (lighthouse), Stokkelandsvannet.... On one of the trips we brough hot cocoa, coffee, eggs, Kvikklunsj, and a good ol´ Norwegian "matpakke."
Prayer and worship in the Prayer room, with and without kids. Dancing, playing, painting, praying for our city, reading the message of the cross together.
Isabella also wanted a date with auntie. Hanging out at the playground, having dinner, painting, puzzles and "Fimlene" made it for us.
Egg hunting in the backyard, cleaning the car (or watching someone else doing the job), changing tiles (or watching someone else doing it...) In general, being outdoors as much as possible.
Communion with good friends and lamb meal (twice!) with family and friends - ala amazing cooks (Christina and the Tjelta family) to remind us of why we really celebrate Easter and what is really important to us.
